Solve lantern riddles

Riddles run outside 19:00–20:59.

  1. Answer a lantern

    Click lanterns in the five cities or Moon Platform. Correct answers reward you and impose a ten-minute wait; incorrect answers allow retry.

Light or extinguish

Lighting window: 19:00–20:59. Twin City: Mona (439,347), Cheryl (455,347).

  1. Obtain the tool

    Hunt monsters: CandleToken → Mona → FestivalCandle; KettleToken → Cheryl → WaterKettle.

  2. Operate the lantern

    Light a lantern with the candle, or extinguish a lit lantern with the kettle. Return to that NPC for SweetDumpling; twenty/day each.

  3. Open the dumpling

    Right-click dumplings five minutes apart. More than fifteen/day causes a two-hour pig transformation.
