Equipment and build checklist
Plan for the cost of an entire play session as well as the weapon upgrade. If you cannot sustain the spells you practise, a larger headline damage figure will not solve that problem.
- Read the level, class and attribute requirements for your backsword and robes before spending.
- Compare magical offense, survival and mana use together rather than choosing by one tooltip number.
- Keep a record of the prerequisite skill levels you still need; character level alone may not unlock the next spell.
- Confirm server-specific point allocation and rebirth rules before committing to a permanent build.
Your first practice session
Pick two manageable situations: one target, then a small group. Practise targeting and resource awareness before increasing the danger.
- Use one spell consistently at first so you can recognise its cost and targeting behaviour.
- Move to a safe position before managing resources; do not let an empty mana bar be your first warning.
- Try an area spell only after checking the surrounding targets and your PK mode.
- Compare clear time and supply use across several runs. Choose a routine you can repeat comfortably, then add complexity.
Hossu naming difference
The 2016 table names the Fire Hossu effect Breaking Touch; its introductory line instead says Blessing Touch. We follow the table name. Flame Lotus has an 8-second countdown and 90-second cooldown.
